Where We work

We work in Northern Tanzania with focus in indigenous communities in rural areas. Our main office is based at Esilalei Village and our branch office is in Arusha city nearby Burka primary school.

Northern Tanzania covers four regions which are Arusha Manyara, Kilimanjaro and Tanga. The indigenous communities in rural areas are Maasai-A pastoralist group with an estimated population of 430,000, Barabaiga- A pastoralist group that belongs to Datoga group with estimated population of 75,000, the Hadzabe-A hunter gatherer group with an estimated population of 1,000 to 3,000 and Akie with the estimated population of 5,200.

These groups have cultural diversity but face almost the same challenges including land tenure insecurity, poverty,  inadequate political representation,  climate change, invasive plant spices and health issues.
